Melodies is a series of new paintings inspired by our relationship with the surrounding world
and our escape from it. I am not looking for peace in paintings, there is no existential recipe for
how to live or die. They talk about existence, music, growing up, breathing, metaphysics and
poetic everyday life. They are trying to keep me from forgetting.
